I
was really impressed by the quote above. Indeed, the best way to close
to God by searching for truth and knowledge. Knowledge of islam is the
truth which can save us in the worldly life and hereafter. Sometimes I
think that there are so many things I want to reach in this life, but I
personally want to add my islamic knowledge more and more. My ambitions
constantly change. After I watched one recommended program on TV, I
realized that learning and teaching islam are called Jihad too. It also
adds my awareness that those ways are the way to be more closed to Allah
swt.
It
suddenly came up on my mind that why I should choose another subject
instead of islamic knowledge. Why I don't put Madinah or Cairo as the
places to go for searching islamic knowledge in my list ambitions. There
I can learn arabic language and probably can increase my iman. Why I
should choose Europe, Australia, even America as the places to study in
my dream lists. I don't know what obsess me.
Yah,
I still have a dream to visit those countries to learn islam and
arabic. I dream to learn islamic education in International Islamic
University of Malaysia for my doctoral degree. Hope Allah grants me. I
actually prefer to learn and teach islam in college. I hope with that
way I will be able to be more closed to God and as the evidence of my
love to islam. I want to spread this religion as much as I can. I dream
someday I can deliver islamic messages in lecturing. I want to introduce
islam to kids even adults but I should enhance my knowledge more. And
the first step is thalabul ilmi.
